| Shortly after this point, David met a Frenchman named Claud Coberly. He was the Executive Chef at the Ritz Carlton Laguna. Mr. Coberly was also working on a consulting project that would be the predecessor to today's quick-serve, sit down and multi profit center concepts such as Bucco Di Beppo, Pomodora Cucina, and Pick Up Stix. David followed Mr. Coberly for a couple years, then went out on his own with start-up and existing Restaurants and Catering outfits in the capacity from Chef/ Kitchen Manager to Assistant and General Manager. (See Commercial Cooking Services Page for listing of all operations David has been affiliated with) Today, Chef David Edelstein lives in Orange County, and does freelance cooking for catering and restaurants as well as private cooking and food service special projects... all under the billing of Sizzlin' Skillet Productions.
